the grand challenge Vienna.

Artificial intelligence is advancing exponentially, yet most organizations see little real business impact. The core reason is structural: companies are layering AI onto operating models built for a human-only world. The result is stalled pilots, POC-Mania, fragmented initiatives, and limited ROI.

Designing the Operating System of the Intelligence Age

This Grand Challenge will bring together leaders from industry, technology, and academia to design the AI-Native Operating System for organizations — an operating model where humans and AI agents collaborate in real time through modular “cells,” event-driven coordination, and agentic workflows. Participants will explore how companies can move from hierarchical, process-bound structures to adaptive, intelligence-driven organizations that learn, decide, and act continuously.

The goal: define the blueprint for organizations that can truly unlock AI’s potential in the coming decade.
